Mollo expansion continues

Italian rental company Mollo Noleggio has acquired PMP in Friuli Venezia Giulia

PMP is based in Pradamano on the south east side of Udine, in Friuli Venezia Giulia - the province that lies between Venice and the border with Slovenia. The company runs a diverse fleet that includes aerial lifts, spider cranes, glass handling equipment, material lifts and trucks. It also runs a training centre. The PMP business will be completely integrated into the Mollo Noleggio organisation.

PMP was established in the mid 1970s by two brothers - Paolo and Maurizio Paravan - originally as Officina Meccanica Paravan abbreviated later to Paravan, providing service, repairs and maintenance for agricultural and construction equipment. In 1991 the brothers set up the P.M.P division to import and sell equipment, entering the rental business in 1994, beginning with cars and soon moving onto aerial work platforms and more recently spider cranes.

The new acquisition follows the acquisitions of Monia Noleggi and Parmiani Noleggi last year and takes the Mollo Noleggio rental network to 49 locations along with its first in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

President Mauro Mollo said: "From a commercial point of view, PMP is a brand with excellent references in Friuli and has a business model characterised by great flexibility aimed in particular at small businesses. Their customers will be able to count on our group for a wide and high quality range of equipment and services. Furthermore, our company has always been attentive to safety, for this reason, as in all our centres, we will also set up a ‘Super’ workshop in Pradamano with mechanics specialised in the constant maintenance of vehicles."

"I would also like to welcome the PMP staff in our team, we are always happy to welcome new collaborators with whom we can share skills and ambition to continuously improve the service we provide to our customers."
