UK rental company Hire Safe Solutions has begun taking delivery of 23 large boom lifts from Genie.
The order includes 10 units of the 135ft SX-135 XC high capacity telescopics, 10 units of the 135ft ZX-135 articulated boom lifts one 150ft SX-150 telescopic and two 180ft SX-180 telescopic boom lifts. The SX-135 XC features a 300kg unrestricted/maximum 454kg platform capacity and a working height of 43.15 metres with a maximum outreach of 27.4 metres.

Chief executive Gerard Jennings said: “These new booms will help Hire Safe Solutions meet the demand we are seeing from a robust construction market, for jobs ranging from infrastructure projects to power plants, and work in city centres.”

“I saw the SX-135 XC for the first time at Vertikal Days in Silverstone in 2017, and promptly bought three of them that day because of their outreach, making us one of the first companies in Europe to purchase the machine and offer it to the UK market. The performance and reliability of the SX-135 XC has lived up to our expectations, that and its performance a just two of the reasons we are adding more units to the fleet,” said Jennings.
