Hy-Brid adds to sales team

US low level scissor lift manufacturer Hy-Brid Lifts/Custom Equipment has appointed John Davis as director of sales for the south central United States.
His responsibilities will include providing customer support as well as the expansion and development of the company’s distribution network.

Davis joins Hy-Brid from Texas State Rentals, where he has been territory sales manager for south Houston for the past three and half years. His access industry career dates back to the start of 2012 when he joined Hi-Way Equipment in Houston, Texas specialist as an aerial lift specialist. The company was acquired by Associated Supply Co – or ASCO as it is known - in May 2013. Davis remained on board and during the decade that followed he spent five years as parts manager and one year as the rental coordinator. He left for Texas State at the very end of 2019.

Vice president of sales Dave Wanta said: “We are thrilled to have John join the Hy-Brid Lifts team. He will work directly with our dealer network in the south central United States, strengthening our ability to serve our customers. John brings a wealth of sales and rental industry knowledge along with operational experience that will bring great value to our customers. He is a valuable addition to the team, and we look forward to the contributions that he will provide for our company’s continued growth.”
