Hire Safe adds to sales team

UK specialist rental company Hire Safe Solutions has appointed Dan Robertson as sales manager.

He joins the company from JLG where he has been northern sales manager since 2018. He began his construction related career in 2010 as an account manager with Hilti. Moving after four years for an area sales managers position with insulation board manufacturer Celotex. The following year he left the company for the Fermacell division of US gypsum building materials supplier James Hardie where he was appointed technical manager, leaving for JLG two and a half years later.

Dan Robertson

Hire Safe Solutions was incorporated in 2013 by Gerard Jennings after he left Height for Hire where he was running its UK operations, today it runs a specialist 850 units fleet of larger booms and scissor lifts, tracked booms, scissor and spider lifts along with telehandlers including 360 degree models. It operates from two locations in England – one near Haydock and the other near Banbury. Revenues are in expected to be in the region of £18 million this year with pre-tax profits of almost £5 million.
