Italian manufacturing company Almac has appointed Dan Robertson as country manager for the UK.
In his new role, he will be responsible for major account sales – mostly national rental companies - through UK subsidiary Almac Atlantic, while supporting and working closely with AlmaCrawler’s UK distributors - Cumberland Platforms and GGR. He will also be looking to create a national after sales team over the next few years.
Robertson joins the company after more than a year and a half with specialist UK rental company Hire Safe Solutions, having previously spent almost four years with JLG as northern sales manager.
He began his construction related career in 2010 as an account manager with Hilti. Moving after four years for an area sales managers position with insulation board manufacturer Celotex. The following year he left the company for the Fermacell division of US gypsum building materials supplier James Hardie where he was appointed technical manager, leaving for JLG two and a half years later.
