Aerial lift manufacturer Time Manufacturing, which operates under the Versalift, Ruthmann, France Elévateur, Movex and Aspen Aerials brands, has appointed Laurent Leclerc as director of export sales and market strategy for the Versalift, France Elévateur, and Movex brands in Europe.
He replaces Peter Tipsmark who has left after three years in the job, to take up a position as administration manager at industrial cleaning machine manufacturer Washpower.
In his new role Leclerc will take charge of Time’s recently established European export division, overseeing a team of four sales representatives, with responsibility for market analysis, product development, technology integration and profitability.

Leclerc was previously technical/R&D manager at France Elévateur, having joined the company as export and special equipment manager from Comilev in 2013. He began his access career early 2001 with Egi, the French vehicle mounted lift manufacturer specialising in insulated and custom built platforms for the utility market, where he was responsible for the sales contracts. After six and a half years in the role he moved to Comilev, another French vehicle mounted lift manufacturer where he was appointed sales manager for the north east region. Both Comilev and Egi were later acquired by Klubb.
European president Kim Bach Jensen said: "We welcome Laurent Leclerc as our new director of export sales and market strategy. His extensive experience makes him ideal to lead our business development efforts."
