Terex Tower Cranes adds to sales team

Terex Tower Cranes has appointed Tomasz Opaliński as the area sales support manager for Eastern Europe, CIS region, and Turkey.

Based in Poland he will be responsible for leading all sales activities in the region, including sales support and applications. While travelling throughout the region he will also be spending a good amount of his time at the Terex crane facilities in Schaffhausen and Fontanafredda.

He joins the company from wire rope manufacturer Pfeifer Polska, where he has been sales manager lifting technology for Poland for the past five and a half years. He began his career in 2009 as a sales representative for drills and fixings distributor and manufacturer Arvex Grobleney. After a year with the company, he moved to domestic and industrial chemical distributor JKK Chemie working in the technical sales area before being appointed as a regional sales manager. In 2012 he joined Finnish paint and coatings specialist Tikkurila as a regional sales representative, two years later he was promoted to a key account coordinator. After 18 months in the role, he took up a similar sales role with Konecranes, after almost two years in the job he was promoted to contract sales manager, leaving for Pfeifer in 2018.
