Roll Group adds to African network
Dutch international heavy lift and transport company Roll Group has agreed a new partnership with the Mozambique division of heavy transportation and lifting company Laso Transportes.
Laso will team up with Roll Group for projects within Mozambique, while Laso will also act as an agent for the Dutch company’s equipment and services.

Roll Group has the equipment to handle the biggest projects
Laso managing director Miguel Matos Pinto said: “Laso has been present in Mozambique since 2012 and we have constantly expanded our capacity to offer logistics solutions, including transportation and handling of heavy and project cargo. We can now offer customers our experience and long presence in Mozambique, together with the capacity of Roll Group to offer complete factory to foundation solutions, even for the biggest modules. Roll Group project ships, including deck carriers, installation equipment and fleet of SPMT’s, as well as their engineering capacity are a great match with Laso’s capabilities.”

Laso Transportes was formed in 2007 by the coming together of two Portuguese special transport companies -Transportes Lamarão and Solenha – Sociedade de Transportes Rodoviários. The company specialises in heavy road transport, with a fleet of around 2,600 units, a qualified work force with more than 1,300 employees,.
