Further opportunities to help
The organisation has two more events over the next six months, aimed at supporting the people of Ukraine.

The first event is entitled ‘A Second Christmas for Ukrainian Children’, which hopes to build on a similar event last year in which company and individual donors provided 30,000 presents for Ukrainian children affected by the war and ongoing bombing raids.

If you'd like to contribute, please wrap the gifts in christmas paper and label them with details such as whether they are for a boy or girl and the appropriate age range.

Please send your gifts to: The Plant and Hire Aid Alliance, c/o Ardent Hire Solutions, 289-297 Felixstowe Road, Ipswich, IP3 9BS.
The deadline for contributions is December 8th.

On the day the trucks depart, there will be a buffet for those wishing to celebrate the occasion.

The second event is organised by Point of Rental, entitled ‘Friends of Ukraine Charity Gala Dinner’ on behalf of the Plant and Hire Aid Alliance.

It will take place on Thursday, March 7th, 2024, at Edgbaston County Cricket Ground. The aim of the dinner is to raise money for Rotary International to purchase essential humanitarian aid for Ukrainian refugees still affected by the Russian invasion.

The evening will feature a three course dinner, an auction, live music, and a guest speaker. There is also an option for those interested to take a tour of the cricket ground.

There is space for more than 500 guests with a total of 45 tables, each seating 12. If you'd like to attend, please contact: [email protected] for more information.
