Sinoboom to launch IPAF eLearning in China

Sinoboom is to work with IPAF to provide its eLearning programme in Chinese to aerial lift operators in the country free of charge.

Sinoboom will also make the training more accessible by placing QR codes on all of the platforms it delivers in China. The QR codes can be scanned by operators, providing instant access to the free IPAF e-training programme. The initiative is aimed at improving national safety and training standards.
The programme covers a range of topics, allowing operators to progress to higher levels of certification, and can contribute to attainment of the internationally recognised PAL Card.
At signing ceremony, (L-R) Raymond Wat, Amanda Tan, Tim Mo and Peter Douglas of IPAF with Biaozhi Li, Tim Whiteman and Tank Chen of Sinoboom

IPAF chief executive Peter Douglas said: “China is the fastest growing equipment market in the world, with a huge rental fleet comprising hundreds of thousands of machines, as well as nearly five million operators…It is very important to us that industry colleagues are equipped with the knowledge and skills to stay safe and work effectively.”

Sinoboom joined IPAF in 2009 and established one of China’s first IPAF training centres in 2017, it now offers online and offline training both at its headquarters and in eight support centres across China.
