Used 120t for Saudi

Saudi Arabian company Rawabi Specialized Contracting (Risal) has taken delivery of a 120 tonne Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 All Terrain.

The new crane is not actually new, it was built last year and has been working in Germany and is therefore second hand. It has been checked and fully inspected and converted to Middle East configuration/specification by Liebherr prior to shipping.

The four axle crane features a seven section 66 metre main topped by a 10.8 to 19 metre bi-fold swingaway extension. A seven metre main boom extension can be added offering a maximum tip height of more than 94 metres with a maximum radius of 64 metres. The crane is equipped with VarioBase variable outrigger set up and monitoring, and VarioBallast adjustable counterweight. The new crane will be used for loading and unloading work at a major energy and chemical company.

Risal supply chain manager Mahmoud Mansy said: “We chose this crane because it matches our requirements perfectly in terms of lifting capacity and boom length. It is exceptionally powerful, has a long telescopic boom and can be used flexibly. We were looking for a young used vehicle with a low number of hours of use. And that's exactly what we found at Liebherr.”
