UK crane rental company Ainscough has taken delivery of four Fassi F545RA.2.26 loader cranes on four axle Scania P500 XT 8x2 chassis.
The fully assembled and tested cranes/vehicles were supplied by MACs Truck Sales and are similar to four similar units that the company delivered in 2018, and which MACs has taken back against the new ones.
The ‘build’ features a Mac’s standard heavy duty body, customised with a number of options including, storage, stainless toolboxes, mud wings, and smaller details such as the Ainscough logo in the headboard.
The vehicles are primarily used with moving crane ballast/counterweights around, and take on a variety of site conditions, which is, says MAC: “Why we recommended Ainscough opt for the Scania P500 XT 8x2 chassis with Fassi F545RA.2.26. This pairing offers the perfect balance between payload and crane power.”
