LGMG has confirmed the appointment of Aron Westby as UK sales director, supporting the company’s distributor APS, while in Germany it has appointed Tommy
Härtig as sales manager for the German speaking region, supporting Carsten Sacher.
Aron Westby joins the company after six years with Skyjack where he has been area sales manager since 2018. He began his access related career in 2006 when he joined alloy scaffold and ladder manufacturer Youngman as a regional sales manager. Over the following nine years he moved in to increasingly senior roles and was appointed as national account manager in 2011. His move into powered access came in 2015 when he joined Pop Up Products as national sales manager. In 2017 he moved to Power Towers, leaving the following year for Skyjack.
Speaking of his time at Skyjack and announcing his move he said: “After nearly six years of working for Skyjack, I have taken the decision to take on a new challenge and I want to thank everyone at Skyjack for a truly amazing time here, for all the help, support and guidance from a wonderful team. A special thank you to Dean Marks for showing and teaching me to be better, always understanding and for being an inspirational leader.”
Tommy Härtig previously worked with Snorkel company story Ahern Deutschland, having joined the business towards in 2015 as a salesman for central and north west Germany. Prior to that he spent 15 years in the crane and aerial lift rental business, including a spell when he was based in Denmark.
