Dingli has appointed Giovanni Ponti as its district manager for the Nordic region of Europe.
Based in Stockholm, Sweden, he joined the company late last year from JLG where he was key account manager for the same region. He started with JLG early in 2020, leaving for Dingli when the company announced the closure of JLG Sverige, its Swedish direct sales and service subsidiary last year.

He began his career in 2013 as a product manager for Combisafe International, the fencing and construction site security firm. He left for JLG after seven yours with the business.

Dingli has had some success in the region but says that it is now looking to expand its sales and step up its customer support efforts.
