US based vehicle mounted lift manufacturer Terex Utilities has announced two key appointments within its commercial and sales & marketing departments.
Joe Caywood has been promoted to director of commercial operations, with responsibility for marketing, product management, sales operations, technical support and warranty. Caywood is a 22 year veteran at Terex, with time spent at both Terex Utilities and Genie. He joined the company as a marketing manager around the same time that Terex acquired Genie and later Demag. His roles have included supply chain director, Installation manager, moving to Genie for a year as value stream, before returning to Terex Utilities as operations manager - installations, and for the past 14 years marketing director for Terex Utilities. He began his career in January 1999 with Ingersoll Rand as worldwide blasthole product manager, leaving for Terex just over three years later.
At the same time Jonathan Harlan has been promoted to head of global sales and support and will lead the sales and regional product support teams. He has been with Terex since the start of 2015 as director, sales and global customer responsiveness. He began his career in 1997 in the product development department at Bombardier Learjet, in Wichita, Kansas, leaving after almost 18 years with the company to join Terex in Watertown, South Dakota.
