A meeting of the IPAF Past Presidents committee was held this week in France.
The meeting, the first since before the Pandemic, was hosted by Pierre Saubot - the former chief executive and owner of Haulotte at his Vineyard home Domaine du Cinquau in Southwest France.
Sadly, several members that had planned to attend, were unable to join the meeting on the day. The meeting was on Thursday with IPAF chief executive Peter Douglas updating the group on the progress that IPAF has made in terms of membership, the number of operators trained last year, countries covered by IPAF training, and the range of languages provided. Former presidents offered a range of thoughts, ideas and constructive input.
The afternoon included a visit to the Toray plant nearby, a state of the art carbon fibre manufacturing plant followed by dinner.
