US aerial lift manufacturer MEC has appointed Rick Penkert as national account manager , with responsibility for overseeing and building relationships with key accounts across North America.
He joins the company from Acme Rentals, where he had been senior vice president Western Region. Prior to that he was employed by Genie as vice president for the Western Region, and United Rentals where he was national account for New Mexico, Arizona and southern California. He began his aerial lift career with Fresno based UpRight, transferring to its sister company Horizon High Reach, and then leaving in 2000 just before it was acquired by United Rentals.
Paul Waller vice president sales said: “We are thrilled to have such an industry veteran as Rick Penkert join our team. His extensive knowledge of the industry, combined with his passion for building strong customer relationships will be instrumental in driving our business forward.”
Penkert added: “I am excited to be a part of the MEC team and contribute to the company’s growth strategy.”
