Senior sales changes at Genie

Genie has appointed Ben Bradshaw as executive vice president of North American sales, while Will Westley and Sharbel Kordahi assume new roles.

Bradshaw joins the company after a number of years with major rental company H&E Equipment Services, where he has been senior vice president of sales for the past two years, having started with the company in 2019 as director of operations, moving to regional vice president the following year and then senior vice president in 2022.

His father - Genie veteran Bob Bradshaw - was vice president for the Western Region until 2019 - but sadly passed away in January, while his grandfather - also Bob - spent 40 years in the equipment business with Shepherd Machinery.
Ben Bradshaw

Ben Bradshaw first worked in the rental industry at the age of 19 when he did a stint as a ‘yard guy’ before joining United Rentals in 2002 as an inside sales rep. He left United after three years to become a sales representative for Cat dealer Quinn, moving on to a similar job at Sunbelt Rentals in 2006. He then tried his hand as an equipment broker, before returning to United Rentals as a territory manager in 2010. After three years in the role, he was promoted to branch manager, then district sales manager, before making the move to H & E Equipment Services.

Genie said: “Bradshaw’s sales leadership experience, combined with his background in the rental industry and strong focus on understanding his customers’ needs, will add to the strength of our current dedicated and experienced team.”

Bradshaw added: “I am excited to be a part of the Genie team, where my role centres on understanding and addressing our customers' needs. I'm eager to collaborate closely with them and understand how we can continue to make an already great brand even better.”

At the same time Will Westley, who joined Genie in 2021, as sales director for the UK and Ireland, becoming vice president sales Europe, Africa and the Middle East in 2022, moves to a new role as global vice president of sales transformation & operations, where he will be responsible for promoting best practices through the Genie sales organisation worldwide.

Sharbel Kordahi takes over from Westley as vice president sales in Europe, Africa and the Middle East region. He has been with Genie since 2010 initially as regional sales manager for the Middle East and Southern Africa and more recently managing director of Terex/Genie Middle East.

Genie vice president of global sales Matt Treadwell said: “For nearly 60 years - since Bud Bushnell founded Genie in 1966 - our customers have been at the centre of what we do. These changes support that customer first focus and will help us strengthen our commitment to delivering not only the quality products our customers need from us, but also the quality customer experience and support that sets Genie apart as an industry leader, and true partner.”
