Jekko adds to Asia Pacific sale team

Italian spider crane manufacturer Jekko has appointed Chen Li as export manager for the Asia-Pacific region.
In his new role he will be responsible for the business development throughout the region, supporting distributors and increasing Jekko’s brand recognition.

He joins the company after six years with aerial lift rental company Shanghai Horizon Equipment where he was a senior sales manager.

He began his career in 2005 in a business development role with Shanghai Paifen Automatic Control Equipment Technology, leaving at the end of 2007 to join Australian based controller manufacturer, Control Devices where he was appointed business development manager. After two and a half years with the company he left for a similar role with Shanghai Hezhuo Electromechanical Technology, moving to a sales managers post at Haimooo-joystick controller in 2014, and finally joining Horizon in Mid-2018.

Chen Li said: “Becoming a member of the Jekko team is a big honour. The Asia-Pacific market has the largest population in the world with a strong and solid requirement. Rapid infrastructure development and urbanisation in the region are important factors driving this growth. With the products and support of the Jekko team, we are set to expand our market in the region with the aid of our partners.”

Sales director Alberto Franceschini added: “The Asian market represents the next and most important challenge for Jekko. After years of supplying the market and gaining some excellent feedback from our dealers and end users, the company has decided to speed things up and define a more concrete policy in the area. For a niche product like Jekko’s, where brand awareness needs to be strengthened, people make the difference.”
