US based heavy lift and engineering specialist Engineered rigging has appointed Jorn Ingebrigtsen as a sales and service representative.
Ingebrigtsen was born and grew up in Norway, before moving to the United States more than 30 years ago, to complete his education, and then settling in the North West. He joins the company from jacking, rigging gear and hardware supplier Ballard Industrial, where he has been an account manager and application engineer for the past six and a half years.

He began his career in 1999 in a sales role with NW Purveyors moving to Index Sensors & Controls as an OEM salesman. In 2004 he set up his own hydraulic jacking sales and rental company Jaxx, selling the business to Ballard just over 14 years later.
Chief executive and founder Christopher Cox said: “Ingebrigtsen brings a wealth of sales and customer service expertise to this role. He is responsible for engaging with customers, developing proposals and identifying solutions to solve client challenges. His career includes specialised expertise in hydraulic equipment sales and service as well as rental, repair and equipment testing.”
