US manufacturer Caldwell Lifting Solutions has appointed Steve Mueller as regional sales manager for the upper Midwest territory.
Mueller will be responsible for promoting the full range of Caldwell products, in addition to Renfore lifting clamps and RUD lifting points across the region, covering North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. He will work alongside Teddy Berman, who joined the company in December.

He joins from Minnesota based industrial supplies distributor Fastenal having started with the company after graduating from school, over the past 22 years he has held a variety of sales and distribution related roles with the company, which operates in the safety resources and vending machine markets.
Speaking of his appointment Mueller said: “Having spent 22 years at Fastenal, I have a deep rooted enjoyment of technical sales and supporting distribution, developed in a similar role and area with Fastenal. The synergies between my old and new roles are great. However, my focus is now firmly switched to Caldwell representation, supporting our distributors with end user visits and participating in customer events, while delivering product expertise across our broad range of equipment.”
Sales director Darrin Noe added: “We were looking for someone to reinforce our connectivity with our distributors in the Upper Midwest and Steve is the perfect guy to re-hoist the Caldwell flag in the region. He has outstanding personality traits and combines them with a solid work ethic. Steve is personable, well-rounded, grounded, and easy to talk to. Throw in his extensive industrial knowledge and it’s a great recipe for success.”
Teddy Berman joined the company in December after nine years with Konecranes, originally as an engineer, becoming a regional sales manager for woodyard and portal cranes in 2017. He previously worked on engine testing and development for Mercury Marine and with Wisconsin Racing and was a research assistant at the University of Wisconsin’s engine research centre, leaving for Konecranes in 2015.
