IPAF - International Powered Access Federation - has appointed Randy Marzicola as vice president North America. He officially took up his new role in August.
He joins the company after more than 15 years with JLG, most recently as business development director. He began his career in 1998 as an area sales manager with Black & Decker power tools and was promoted to global product manager four years later. In 2007 he moved to Timex as business development director leaving for JLG the following year.
In his new role with IPAF, he will mainly be responsible for recruiting new members while enhancing and adding to the benefits and services that the organisation offers its North American members. He will also support Tony Groat's ongoing focus on standards, current members, training operations, and the IPAF North American council. Both men will report directly to chief executive Peter Douglas.
Douglas said: "We are thrilled to welcome Randy Marzicola to IPAF. His extensive experience in business development and strategic partnerships make him an ideal fit to play a key role in our North American operations. We look forward to the positive impact he will undoubtedly bring to our organisation and members, and we are now even more optimistic about the future in this region."
Tony Groat added: “I look forward to working with Randy to step up IPAF’s value to members while expanding our efforts to promote the safe and effective use of powered access.
