New CEO for MRL

Indian sales and rental company Mtandt Rentals Ltd (MRL) has appointed Sagar Sawlani as its group chief executive. His role will be to manage and ensure the company’s expansion plans run smoothly.

He joins from access rental company RentEase International where he has been director of global affairs for the past two years. Sawlani began his career in 2008 as an intern with Sony, HSBC, and water company Eureka Forbes. He then moved to Eureka Forbes as a corporate sales officer.

In May 2010, he joined UK tool manufacturer Stanley Black & Decker as a sales officer for two years before becoming a sales manager at German company Rothenberger, which is also in the tool manufacturing business. In 2018, he took on a similar role for German building materials company Müpro beginning as area sales manager for Asia Pacific and then head of international sales for five years before his move to RentEase in 2022.

Sawlani said: "I am thrilled to join Mtandt at such an exciting juncture. My focus will be on scaling the business sustainably while delivering outstanding customer experiences. With the recent €16 million funding, we are well positioned to expand our product offerings and further invest in our fleet to meet the market's growing demands."
