Palfinger UK – a division of Palfinger distributor TH White Has appointed Stuart Todd as managing director. The move follows the retirement of Alan Johnson at the end of last year.
Todd joined the company in 2018 when it acquired Outreach Truck, Palfinger’s distributor in Scotland, where he had been managing director since 2016. He was appointed as financial controller with Palfinger UK and was promoted to commercial director in January 2021 and has been managing the company on an interim bases since Johnson’s departure.

TH White group chief executive Alex Scott said: “I wish to take this opportunity to thank Stuart for taking on the interim role and leading the team since Alan’s departure. Following a discussion with the Palfinger UK heads of department and the board of directors, Stuart has been offered the permanent role from 1st May 2024, and he has accepted it. The appointment heralds a new chapter for Palfinger UK, and the team is poised to support the leadership as they steer the company towards continued success.”
Todd added: “I am thrilled to be taking on the role of managing director, we have a talented team and strong brand to be proud of, and I look forward to continuing to drive our existing initiatives and developing some exciting new projects”
