Roll Group expands in Saudi

The Middle East division of heavy lift and haulage company Roll Group, has expanded its operations in Saudi Arabia with the opening of a new 4,000 square metre facility in Jubail.
The facility is equipped with state of the art machinery and ample space for storage and logistics. Roll group Middle East and its local subsidiary Roll Group Saudi Arabia which was set up in 2023 and now owns and operates high capacity cranes and gantries, heavy equipment and self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs).
The group has been active in the region since 2020 and also operates from the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Oman.

The group also owns and operates a heavy transport shipping fleet with dock type vessels, which all have the option of three loading modes - Ro-Ro, Flo-Flo and Lo-Lo -, in addition to deck carrier vessels. The group’s heavy lift barge, the Roll Barge 1, will also be based in the area from next month.

Dutch international Roll Group, which includes Roll Dock and Roll Lift was established by Frans van Seumeren in 2006, a year after he parted company with Mammoet. It moved into the heavy mobile crane market in 2011 and now runs a fleet of heavy lift cranes up to 4,000 tonnes and also provides heavy haulage solutions worldwide with operations in the America’s, South East Asia, Europe and Middle East.
