ER appoints tech sales specialist

US based heavy lifting specialist Engineered Rigging has appointed Dave Thorsen as technical sales specialist. He joins from Sarens where he has been a senior sales engineer since May 2023.

In his new role, he will work with the company's global customer base, focusing on technical solutions, and project support.
Thorsen joined the lifting industry more than 25 years ago and has worked with companies such as Lift Systems and Enerpac before joining Mammoet in 2018 as strategic sales engineer, moving to Sarens five years later.

Vice president Mike Beres said: "Dave is a talented addition to our sales team. His extensive industry knowledge and deep understanding of our customers' needs will help Engineered Rigging deliver exceptional service at every step of the sales process."
