700 tonner for Forsyth

Scottish crane rental company Forsyth of Denny has taken delivery of a 700 tonne Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 All Terrain crane as part of a six unit order.

The eight axle crane features a basic four section 54 metre boom which converts to a six section 80 metre boom when required. A 90 metre luffing jib is also available. Other features include the VarioBallast hydraulically variable counterweight system, Stage V diesels with ECOdrive and ECOmode fuel and emission saving devices and Variobase variable outrigger set up and monitoring.

Director Mark Syme said: "We are absolutely delighted to take delivery of this very impressive piece of equipment, which joins our expanding fleet of Liebherr cranes. The new LTM 1650-8.1 will allow us to provide our customers with an even greater level of service and flexibility."

The company has already received three cranes from the order this year - a 110 tonne LTM 1110-5.2 and two 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1s. A third 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1 and a 90 tonne LTM 1090-4.2 will complete the order later this year.

Established in 1995, the company is based in Denny, Scotland. Forsyth of Denny has two further depots in Scotland - Irvine and Earlston - as well as a location in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland. The company currently runs a fleet of All Terrain and crawler cranes from 30 to 700 tonnes as well as a transport and haulage vehicles.
