Dutch/Finnish arial lift rental company JaloBMS has ordered the first two 70 metre Bronto Skylift S70XT1-J truck mounted platforms. The deal was confirmed at Bauma last week. Delivery is scheduled for 2026.
The new platform - announced in February - features a five section main boom, topped by a three section upper boom/jib topped by Bronto’s articulating jib with around 175 degrees of articulation, providing a realistic maximum outreach of 39 metres with 120kg in the platform and 33.2 metres with the maximum platform capacity of 600kg. Maximum up & over clearance is 46 metres with an outreach of around 32 metres. Below ground reach is almost 18 metres, at an outreach of around 15 metres.

JaloBMS - originally Danish international crane and aerial lift rental company BMS and Finnish truck mounted lift rental company Jalo & Jalo - began its joint venture in 2023 to target the growing demand for large truck mounted lifts from the mobile telecoms and wind turbine markets. JaloBMS focuses on the Nordic region, covering Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland where the two partners already have a strong presence with more than 40 locations between them.
