UK based access specialist Brogan Group has appointed Geoff Beentjes as regional manager for Northern England, coinciding with plans to open a new depot in the region. He joins the company from Sunbelt where he has been hoist director since 2018.
In his new role, Beentjes will oversee the establishment of a new regional service centre, scheduled to open in late summer. The facility will serve northern cities including Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield and Newcastle, supporting the company's expansion across the North and Midlands

Beentjes enterered the hoist market in 1990 when he founded Hoist It Services in Wigan. He led the company for 28 years until 2018, when it was acquired by Sunbelt Rentals he remained with the business for six years as hoist director. Then in November last year, set up a consultoing business - GB hoists, which he still gas and will run alongside his new position at Brogan.

Based near London, Brogan Group operates a fleet of more than 400 hoists, 600 mast climbers along with a range of scaffolding. The company has operations in the UK, Ireland, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
