A two tonne Geda 1500 Z/ZP transport platform has been installed to support renovation work on the Perlachturm tower, a 70 metre historic landmark in Augsburg’s town hall square in the south of Germany.

The platform has been configured with 27 stops to meet the requirements of the project and designed to work as a combined material and passenger hoist, featuring a 1.45 x 3.3 metre loading platform with a lift capacity of up to 2,000kg or seven people. The transport/passenger platform control has a maximum transport speed of 12 metres a minute. When only materials are being transported the 'materials mode' allows speeds of up to 24 metres a minute.
