He has now officially taken up his new role and reports directly to the owners and chief executive, Fiorenzo and Alessandro Flisi. His responsibilities are wide ranging and include leading all European commercial activities.

The company statement said: “This move is a part of our aim to create a new global structure designed to accelerate growth and strengthen operational and commercial capabilities worldwide.”
Enrique García said: “I am delighted to join Socage, serving industry leading customers across our target markets. I look forward to working with the excellent team at Socage to execute our strategy, prioritising the delivery of shareholder value through growth and operational excellence.
Fiorenzo Flisi added: “I am really looking forward to working with Enrique and am confident that his experience, values and leadership style make him an excellent choice to lead the group into its next phase.”
Alessandro Flissi said: “Enrique’s track record of driving growth, navigating complex markets and building high performing teams makes him the right leader to advance our European region. This structure positions us to meet our customers where they are and deliver sustained, profitable growth.”
