Italian aerial work platform manufacturer Imer has appointed Ohl Baumaschinen as a sales and service dealer in central Germany, following the recent announcement that Imer was planning to expand its dealer network across Germany and Austria. It brings the total number of Imer service centres in Germany and Austria to 13.
Founded in 2022 by Sascha Ohl - who has been active in the lifting industry since 2012 - Ohl Baumaschinen is based in Butzbach, north of Frankfurt, and also employs five service technicians at workshops in nearby Lich. The Ohl will provide sales and service support within the Rhine-Main, Rhön, Taunus and East Hessen/ Fulda regions. The company is also a service partner for Manitou.
The agreement follows a meeting at a trade show where Ohl met Reinhard Sebulke, the aftersales manager at Imer and a long time friend. Ohl Baumaschinen has already ordered its first Imer units whach have now arrived, including an 18 metre R18SA spider lift and 16ft IM5080UL scissor lift.

Sebulke said: “After a short time, it became clear that the family-run company Ohl Baumaschinen, with its technical expertise and strong service orientation, is an excellent fit for our network.”
Ohl added: “I was impressed by the quality of the machines and the well-thought-out design details of the Imer aerial platforms. It quickly became clear to us that we wanted to actively represent these products in our region.”
