Imer on the move in Germany

Italian aerial lift producer Imer is expanding its aerial lift sales and service network across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

A key part of the strategy is to build a wider support network for Imer Access equipment in the region, led by after sales manager Reinhard Sebulke, who joined the company last year. The network already includes 12 authorised service centres in Germany and Austria, capable of handling maintenance, service, and technical support for Imer platforms – mostly scissor and spider lifts, in addition to the Imer German HQ.

The company is also holding discussions with potential service partners and hopes to develop some of them into regional sales partners.

In Switzerland, the Imer access team has confirmed sales and rental company Up Ag as its official distribution and after sales partner. Based in Affoltern am Albis, Up operates from three locations across the country, with a further eight independent service and support partners spread throughout Switzerland.

Sebulke said: “A high-performing and regionally well positioned service is a crucial factor for the satisfaction of our customers. With twelve authorised service centres now operating in Germany and Austria, we can react more quickly and support our customers much more efficiently.

Regional business development manager news [46025](Bernhard Kahn) added: "Our aim is to ensure our customers not only with innovative and high performance aerial work platforms, but also with reliable and professional service. Expanding our service network is an important step towards getting closer to our customers and offering them even better support in the daily operation of their machines. We see great potential in sectors outside the traditional rental structure. Our strategy is to develop new customer segments together with strong regional partners and to position the Imer Access brand even more broadly in the market."
