UK international mast climber, hoist and scaffold specialist Brogan group has expanded its scaffolding operations across the English Midlands and North, extending its coverage to support projects in Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, and Newcastle.
As part of this initiative, Brogan has recruited scaffold veteran Jon Cooke as strategic partnership manager for the Midlands and Northern England regions.
Jon Cooke
Cooke has spent his entire career in the scaffold and work at height industry, starting out as a labourer, and moving up through the ranks, in 2005 he joined Lyndon Scaffolding, remaining on board when it was acquired by Brand Safway in 2019, the business was gradually merged with another Brand Safway business - SGB – becoming Lyndon SGB. Under the new regime, Cooke was promoted to regional manager and is now looking to bring his experience to Brogan.
In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing expansion operations in Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, and Newcastle. The expansion follows Brogan’s strengthening of its powered access operations in the Midlands and North last year, particularly in construction hoists.
Speaking of his appointment, Cooke said: “I am excited to be joining the Brogan group at such an important time for the business, as we continue to expand the business and scaffolding operations across the North. Brogan has built a strong reputation for technical excellence, safety and reliable delivery, and I look forward to working with our teams and clients to provide combined access solutions that support the successful delivery of projects throughout the region.”
