Speaking of his new role, Kaye said: “I’ve always thrived in external sales, ever since taking on my first tool and plant role at Jewson. I enjoy meeting customers, building relationships and winning businesses, and LGH felt like the right place to bring that energy while learning a new product range. I bring 15 years of experience across customer service, account management and business development. I understand how hire customers think, what pressures they’re under and what they expect from a supplier.”
LGH was established in 1970 by Bill Parkinson in the UK. The company opened in the USA in 1990 and closed its operations in the UK in 2005 to focus on its North American expansion programme. In 2016, it returned to the UK and now operates from five locations in the country, along with one in the Netherlands, one in Belgium and two in Germany, plus around 20 branches in North America, and one it opened in France earlier this year. The company is still owned and managed by the Parkinson family. Its rental fleet currently includes spreader beams ranging from six to 1,500 tonnes as well as rigging equipment, such as shackles, slings, load cells, load links, winches and sheave blocks etc...
