UK truck and loader crane distributor Mac’s Trucks Sales has acquired Fassi crane dealer Walker Crane Services based in London, making its first move into the south of the country.
Walker Cranes Services, tests, repairs and services loader cranes, and is a main dealer for Fassi, supplying parts and training from its facility in Grays, Essex on the east side of London's M25, which will now become a Mac’s Trucks depot. The move comes not long after the expansion of its headquarters in Huddersfield in the north of England, and the re-location of its rental division.

Mac’s sales director Alex McDade said: "By bringing together our manufacturing capabilities with Walker Crane Services' expertise as a key Fassi dealer and service agent, we are strengthening our ability to support customers right across the UK, and particularly in the south."

Established in the 1970’s and based in Huddersfield, Mac’s trucks is one of the largest family run new and used truck dealerships in the UK.
Walker Crane Services was founded in 1970 as a loader crane sales and service company and moved to its current premises on London’s M25 ring road in 1988. It was one of the original members of the UK based industry association ALLMI (Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers) and was appointed as a main Fassi dealer in 1996.
