Germany to the toe of Italy

German rental company GS Arbeitsbühnen, part of the Gerken group, has sold its 16 year old 103 metre Palfinger/Wumag WT1000 truck mounted platform to crane and aerial lift rental company Movigru Oliva in Polistena, Calabria, near the toe of Italy.

The deal was brokered through KuCon Expert Consulting, which is run by former Ruthmann chief executive Rolf Kulawik, and sold through aerial company Oxley Piattaforme. Gerken has replaced the big Palfinger, which is mounted on a five axle Faun crane carrier, with one of the new 100 metre Ruthmann T1000 HFs.
