New MD for Terex India

Terex has promoted Jaideep Shekhar to managing director of Terex India. In his new role, he will be responsible for supporting growth and strengthening the company’s presence in the Indian market.

Shekhar began his career in 1999 at material handling company Svedala Industri as an application engineer, joining Metso Minerals two and a half years later as a sales engineer, have progressed to sales manager by 2007, he left to join Terex as country manager for the materials processing division, moving up through the company to become managing director of material processing and now of Terex India.

Terex said: “With nearly two decades of experience at Terex, Jaideep most recently served as managing director for Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia Terex materials processing. His deep knowledge of the business, combined with strong leadership and execution capabilities, positions him well to guide the next phase of growth in India.”
