Scissor and ladder solution

Sent in by a regular visitor to Vertikal.Net, a photo of two men working on the refurbishment of a commercial building.

They are using a scissor lift that is clearly too small for this part of the job, as are the ladders they have. The work they are doing must be somewhere in the region of eight or nine metres?

The solution? Combine the scissor lift and extension ladder!

The poor sap up the ladder is holding on for dear life while trying to use a sander.

There is hardly anything right about this picture: the ladder on top of the lift, the horizontal pressure applied on the lift from the ladder, the angle of the ladder, working from it for an extended period…. They are all obvious.

We are not sure where it occurred, but hopefully the two survived the crazy work at height solution and went home to their families.

Definitely one for our Death Wish Series.
