New VP for Skyjack

Canadian aerial lift and telehandler manufacturer Skyjack has appointed Dave Wanta as regional vice president of sales for the Southeast United States.
He rejoins the company from Dynapac North America, where he has been rental director for the past 14 months.

He began his career in 1994 with Textron /Omniquip, which at the time owned Snorkel aerial lifts plus Lull and Sky Trak telehandlers. In mid 2003 JLG purchased the Lull and Sky Trak operations, and Wanta moved to JLG, returning after seven months to Textron as a territory sales manager. 15 years later, he transferred to its Jacobsen mower and ground care subsidiary. Moving in 2017 to Skyjack as national accounts manager based in Florida. In 2020, he returned to the aerial lift market as sales director and then vice president of sales with low-level scissor lift producer Hy-Brid Lifts. In 2024, he took a job with Manitou as fleet and key account manager, leaving for Dynapac 14 months later.
