AXCS adds to sales team

US based low level lift manufacturer AXCS which includes Hy-Brid/Custom Equipment low level platforms, has appointed Nick Lewis as regional sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic.

He will be responsible for increasing sales, market share and presence across the region, with a focus on attracting new customers while stepping up the support for existing AXCS buyers

He joins the company following 18 months as regional manager with industrial rental company National Tank & Equipment. He began his career in 2008 as a regional sales manager at construction company Mabey, leaving in 2012 for BlueLine Rental where he was division sales manager, two and a half years later, he moved to a similar role at environmental services company Rain for Rent, rejoining the equipment rental industry in 2017 as a district sales manager - Fluid Solutions - with United Rentals.
After five and a half years with United, he tried the scaffold rental industry with Scaffsource, but left after eight months for a regional sales role with W.O. Grubb Crane Rental, moving to National Tank in January last year.

Lewis said: "I am excited to join the team at AXCS. My customer service philosophy centres on listening first to understand customers' needs so that we can accurately support them and strengthen or build long term relationships. Coming from the rental side of the industry, I know that providing quality equipment backed by a reliable partner is the key to success."
