US rigging specialist Engineered Rigging (ER) has taken delivery of a 200 tonne Officine CLP LG202 hydraulic gantry system, the second CLP unit to arrive in the country.
The four tower LG202 has a capacity of 200 tonnes, or 100 tonnes in two tower configuration, and lifts to a maximum height of 7.48 metres. Each tower weighs 3,150kg with oil and has a 920 by 1,800mm chassis, with a fully retracted height of 3.05 metres, or 2.83 metres in transport mode.

Other features include internally ported cylinders, automatic synchronisation of all four towers when lifting and an LCD radio remote control that displays lift height, load weight and system status.
Officine CLP chief executive Luca Giordano travelled from Italy for the handover at Engineered Rigging's equipment depot in Russellville, Arkansas.
Luca Giordano of CLP (L) and Christopher Cox of Engineered Rigging Christopher Cox, Engineered Rigging president said: "Luca could have shipped this gantry and sent an invoice, instead, he got on a plane. His trip reflects not only his pride in CLP's engineering and craftsmanship but also the importance of relationships."
Engineered Rigging vice president Mike Beres added: "Facilities are setting heavier modular loads than their overhead cranes are designed to handle. The LG202 gives them 220 tons of capacity in a package that ships on one trailer and fits through a standard opening."
Engineered Rigging is headquartered in Indiana, the Midwest, with an equipment depot and service centre in Russellville, Arkansas. The company operates across the construction, manufacturing, power/oil & gas, and mining sectors, offering equipment rental and sales, engineering services and equipment testing.
