AXCS adds to sales team

Turkish American aerial lift and telehandler manufacturer AXCS has appointed Shaun Byrne as northeast regional sales manager.

In his new role, Byrne will be responsible for strengthening relationships with dealers and direct rental customers, building sales and identifying strategic new business opportunities throughout the region.

He joins the company following more than 10 years with Sunbelt Rentals, having started off in 2016 as a field sales representative in Pittsburgh, in 2021 he promoted to a profit centre manager based in Ohio.

Speaking of his new job Byrne said: "I am thrilled to join AXCS Equipment at such an exciting time in the company's growth. What stands out to me most about AXCS is that this is an organisation that genuinely listens to the customer and implements real changes to its equipment to solve field challenges.”

Sales vice president David Porter added: "We are very excited to welcome Shaun to the AXCS sales team. Shaun combines a strong background in rental operations and branch management with a relentless work ethic and exceptional listening skills. Having spent over a decade in the rental industry, he understands the operational realities our partners face every day, making him an invaluable resource for our customers in the Northeast."

AXCS was previously Custom Equipment / Hy-Brid Lifts but was acquired in late 2023 by Turkish company Asko Holding, which also owns ELS aerial lifts and MTS telehandler. It was rebranded as AXCS last year.
