Chief executive Ole Kristian Jødahl said:”The group delivered solid order intake growth and improved profitability in the third quarter, despite continued challenging conditions in construction related markets. The integration of Pro-Bel progressed according to plan and contributed positively to both order intake and profitability during the quarter. The acquisition strengthens our position in attractive end markets and supports our strategy of building a more diversified and profitable business.”
“Strong organic growth in Wind and Industrial was offset by lower organic revenue in Construction, Facade Access and Height Safety & Productivity Solutions.”
“To further strengthen profitability and adapt our cost base to current market conditions, we are implementing cost reduction and efficiency activities across the group, while maintaining investments in strategic growth initiatives.”
“Construction remains our primary focus area for improvement, as results were again disappointing. We are taking decisive action to strengthen performance and profitability, while continuing to invest in attractive growth opportunities.”
“On the positive side, the division reported order intake growth for the second consecutive quarter, driven by strategic growth initiatives and increasing activity in selected markets.”
