Continental expands in LA

Continental Crane, the Orange County based cranes sales and rental company has ordered 30 new Rough Terrain cranes in order, it says, “to help contractors tackle the shortage of cranes in Southern California.”

The 30 new Rough Terrains will all be delivered by mid 2008 and include10 90-ton Link-Belt RTC 8090 Series II, with 42 metre main boom and maximum tip height of 72 metres.
All cranes will have Tier III engines and are CARB (California Air Resources Board) compliant.

Continental Crane runs a fleet of mixed fleet of Rough Terrain and crawler cranes from Grove, Link Belt, Terex, Liebherr and Manitowoc along with a few Comedil tower cranes. It has also established a partnership arrangement with Bigge Equipment, to offer a wider range of cranes to its customer base. It is an official dealer for Terex Cranes.
