Genies for Liverpool

Working At Height Ltd has won a contract to supply five Genie platforms to the new Arena Convention Centre in Liverpool. The 10,000 seat Arena will open as the centre piece of Liverpool’s year as European Capital of Culture 2008.

The largest of the five lifts is a 32 metre platform height Genie S105 telescopic boom, required to reach the highest levels of the rigging that will be required in the spectacular shows that are planned throughout 2008.

Other units include a TZ-50 trailer lift, Z34/22 bi-energy articulated boom, GS-1932 electric scissor lift and an AWP-30 push around lift for use throughout the new facility including the Convention Centre.

Working At Height, which specialises in end user sales of access equipment, was established in 2006 by Ottie and Nick Whittle and has since gone on to supply a number of large venues in the UK including: the 02 Arena, Earls Court Arena and Wembley Stadium.
