Easi-Uplifts joins Partner-Lift in Germany

Ireland’s largest access rental coampny, Easi-Uplifts, has joined Partner-Lift the German rental franchise association.

Easi-Uplifts currently has locations in Ireland and the UK but has been looking at the German market for some time.

It is considering establishing a specialist rental operation that will initially focus on large niche machines such as big self propelled booms and spider lifts with a similar strategy that the company employed at its new location in Banbury, England.

Partner-Lift is in many ways similar to the Access Link in the UK, being an alliance of independent platform rental companies throughout Germany, providing a national coverage with locations throughout Germany.

The group also has a Swiss member - Rent-it AG and a Polish partner FHU Hein, Wolfgang Dahms of PartnerLift says that the company is also currently negotiating with rental companies in Holland and Austria.

Partner-Lift has a strong buying programme allowing members to benefit from group purchasing agreements with lift manufacturers and other suppliers, for example the group is JLG’s third largest customer in Germany and benefits from pricing associated with that volume.
