Death Wish 52

A man was spotted earlier this morning in Taunton Somerset, UK, cleaning out the gutters of a six metre high industrial building.

Bearing in mind that there is a large powered access rental company next door, you would have thought that he would have at least have asked to borrow a machine to safely and efficiently carry out this work?

Our man is the limp in the top centre of the picture as he crawls along the gutter

Hardly the most efficient way to work, not to mention safe - note the ladder

Oh no this man in typical make do and be damned style uses a ladder just long enough to reach the gutter to climb up onto the roof and then proceed to crawl along and work in the gutter on the very edge of the building. This in a damp morning when slipping is easy.

Working on your knees like that probably requires the occasional stretch -as long as you don't forget where you are and step back!

As far as we know he managed to get away with it this time, unless he is still up there. His greatest risk was probably transferring from and back onto his ladder.

Some people will never learn.
