Bob Francis on the mend

Bob Francis, founder of UK based Bob Francis Crane Hire, suffered a stroke at the end of February and was taken into hospital.

A statement from the company says adds: “As people who know him would expect, Bob ‘bailed out’ of hospital after a seven days stay and has returned home.”

“Bob and his family would like to thank everyone for their tremendous support and well wishes.”

Bob Francis founded the family crane business in 1981 and currently operates a fleet of mobiles and crawler cranes from three locations in North Wales and the borders. Click Here to see the last visit and interview with the company

All of us at the Vertikal Press wish Bob all the best for a full recovery as will most of our readers who know this larger than life character who is a credit to the best in our industry.

Hopefully he will be out in force at Vertikal Days this June, the Haydock lifting event that he helped get started with his much appreciated support in 2007.
