Ernst Van Hek leaves Alimak Hek

Ernst Van Hek, has resigned from mast climber and hoist manufacturer Alimak Hek effective this week.

The move, which has been done on amicable terms with the company, follows a family tragedy. Speaking at this weeks Intermat exhibition, Hek told Vertikal.Net that the tragic death of his only grandson, aged two, caused him to review his circumstances and come to the conclusion that it was best for him to step aside and look at a career change.

He was highly complimentary of the support and understanding that he has received from the group and says that he will be helping and assisting the company as and when necessary.
